This has been a busy week for Labrador City Records. A return from hiatus has brought with it a wash of new records. We are proud to announce the third release of the week: Tyler Butler’s Waxwing. Diehatzu Hijets Free Download!

Dihatzu Hijets, the birthchild of Layne L’Heureux have made their inaugural deput on Labrador City with a free download of their new self titled EP. Get it now, it also includes 4 never before released bonus tracks from Layne L’Heureux! (Click the below image for download)

After a short term hiatus Layne L’Heureux, in isolation in rural Northern Alberta birthed and penned the seminal tracks of which the below EP consists of. Though somewhat immature in it’s delivery, with further development and consistency Diehatzu Hijets could become a solid contribution to alternative rock in the future, check ‘em out.

Layne L’Heureux has released a new album “Rockheart” with the once again re-united members of his backing band, including the legendary drummer: Bill Dent.

We are neither old nor ugly. But our friends are.

We think that everyone on Old Ugly is cool. In fact, they are some of the coolest people we know.

This one time, Mitchmatic put gin in The Joe’s beer and I had carry Joe to bed. It was the first time I really hung out with Joe. This other time I ran into a telephone pole and woke up to Mitchmatic stepping over me to get to work. Still another time I worked my way through a set with Liam while The Joe listened. And don’t even get us started on Bike Month. Fucking Bike Month. What a guy.
